I am once again sorry for the poor image of the animal I want to ID, pics don't work at all so this is the best I can do <iframe width="420" height="315" src="Thing - YouTube" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>. very strange critter here, if you look close you can see the leg like things curling towards the center, they were going in to a hole/mouth, its a filter feeder that much I am sure of. good luck!

when those legs uncurl from its mouth, it's legs move just like a starfish would.

Honestly I can't tell. Video is too small for my eyes. Bump for you though!

I see what you are trying to video tape. To be it looks like a grab in the middle of either some macro algae or an anenome. I can see the claw going up to its "mouth" so my best bet would be a grab. That is of course if I am seeing correctly and the things that are flowing in the current are not part of the critter.

It looks like digitate hydroids being pushed in the current from powerheads.

You have no corals near them but if you put one near them, they will sting the living daylights out of them.

I nuke them by turning off all pumps and squirt them with Kalkwasser out of a syringe.

No claws, the things do move and actually I can spook it and it will totally retract, when it comes back out it unfolds all those legs which I watched long enough and they take turns feeding the mouth. there is like 8 legs

Doesn't look like digitate hydroids to me, way too stiff in the current, plus kinda wavy looking.
No idea what it is from that distance, though.

Although I might try the kalk squirting on my digitates LOL.
