    Digitate hydroid.

    Not nearly as bad as the colonial variety, and not nearly as aggressive.

    I had some once; they didn't spread much and eventually went away without any intervention.

    I had a few awhile back as well, not sure whatever happened to them but theyre gone

    They generally show up when there's a pod bloom or some other type of small live prey (BBS, etc), and as mentioned, they generally disappear once the food is gone.
