    Sorry for the multiple posts, but I just noticed this after I had snapped all the other pics.

    The picture isn't clear, but it's already been enhanced more than an Oprah Winfrey magazine cover, so it's the best I can do. LOL

    It almost looks like a tiny white daisy, minus the yellow spot in the middle.

    are they a very light blue "petal? i had some of those growing at the foot of my toadstool. just a nonharmful hitchiker if its the same thing. i dont even think its a form of macroalgae

    looks like a clove polyp to me. if it is then its you first coral.

    What kind of lights do you have? Under my MH's it looks white. Under T5 bulbs it might look more blueish though.

    Thanks. I did a google search for clove polyps, and the results look like a match for what I have.

    I also have one of these om a piece of live rock, I think mine may be xenia - it looks more like that than my clove polyps - almost a violet colour and does not flourese like the cloves
