Looks like an aiptasia to me too. If you can remove the rock to treat, you can just immerse in bleach water, then soak in RO/DI water and replace. If it's too big to remove, you can make a paste with some calk or alk powder, rub it on the aiptasia, and it will dissolve/kill it right there.

If you can remove the rock, you can burn the aiptasia with a blowtorch. Just make sure it is completely fried before putting it back into your tank.

Not gonna lie, it is a little satisfying. But only when I don't think about it too much - otherwise I get sad! lol But it really works!

I was wondering what the new additions that have popped up in my tank. There are three. One nice looking and large. A couple smaller ones. Now I need to get rid of them:(
Have any of herd of or tried this method with Lemon Juice???

•1 Bottle or squeeze dispenser of Lemon Juice From Concentrate.
•One 3ml Latex Free Syringe with a 0.5mm x 16mm needle. Your local pharmacist can provide you with the syringe and needle for about a half a dollar. Don't be surprised if your pharmacist asks you a few questions as to what you plan to use the syringe/needle for.
    Procedure:

1.Remove the syringe and attached needle from the wrapper.
2.Twist the needle cover to tighten on the syringe.
3.Remove the needle cover. Shake the bottle (or dispenser) of lemon juice.
4.Fill the syringe with 3ml lemon juice by inserting the needle into the lemon juice and pulling back on the syringe plunger.
5.Insert the needle into (not through) the base (not the top) of the anemone.
6.Inject about .5ml of the lemon juice into the anemone. Withdraw the needle and proceed to the next one.

well good luck in catching the base with the needle!!!!!!!! as soon as these buggers feel threatened they retract. as for the lemon juice i donno if it works, i like frying them with a solderer it can reach deep in their holes and kill their roots. and the torch method is not bad too.
