Another LED thread...

I've seen a lot of good arguments on both sides about grouping verse not grouping them, so its hard to say for me.

BUT, I'd def upgrade to the mean well drivers, the maxwells have ALOT of issues, and its only like $5-10 more per the upgrade. IMO

Thanks its gonna have to be a decision ill make when its time to lay em out.

So i priced out a Rapidled 48 U.P Dimmable kit w/ 12 cool, & neutral white LEDS, 12 royal blue, and blue LEDs with 60deg optics.

AND

an 8 UV kit from them for under 500. W./o heatsinks. Not bad for a lot of quality light.

I could even get cyan and tie it in the UV sting. with a few reds. down the road if i needed more of a variety, but like i said idk yet lol.

Im really leaning toward doing this for real when i get funds put together. DIY seems the way to go, and itll give me something to do on a weekend ;D.

 

Don't get 10K LEDs from auquastyle. They are junk. I'll send you 24 of mine for free. Get neutral white.
