It's a very bare minimal lighting fixture. It is also very industrial looking. There are no fans that I can see. It's hard to say, you can't see exactly what the reflectors look like because the pictures don't enlarge. It does have a 5 year warranty and says American made, but you never know. It doesn't give great detail as to the ballast type, or if it has a splash guard or not, and a hanging kit.

thats what i though too, but i think he is buying the fixture on the right.
with the click to enlarge on the picture.

the fixture you talking about on the bottom is a grow light fixture for gardening but i dont see why it wont work for coral too.

edit: the bottom on is made buy sun blaze or new wave. but probably sunblaze sinces its cheap.

yeah its the fixture on the right...... but i cant understand why its so cheap even if it needs a splash guard thats probably not too hard to find. It would be for a 55 gallon. Its very tempting but I want to get others opinions cuz im undeducated i guess when it comes to lighting

I was looking at the bottom picture. That price is including bulbs, so I would be skeptical too. Usually when it comes to lighting you get what you pay for.

I have the 8x80 set up from them, the bulbs are crap, but the ballasts are workhorse and when changing to better bulbs this set up rocks and runs pretty cool without a fan, but I have a cheapy fan behind just for piece of mind.
