I just got another new coral last night. Its pretty awesome. its a goniopora. Ihave never seen one so brilliantly colored. I was very reluctant to buy one as I had a terrible experience with one in my nano. But this one is beautiful, it looks awesome under the blue lights, really bright neon green.

Hey, not to burst your bubble, but Goniopora are very difficult to keep and usually die within a few months tops! The one in your nano died for a reason as they are not hardy and not an ideal coral to keep!!

Goog luck. I never had much luck with as most here.

Too bad they are just so darn pretty. Hard to pass up.

Experience and reading here has taught me long ago to stay clear of.

    Good luck.

    Keep us posted.

Its such a shame that it is so hard to keep alive as it is a beatiful coral I also have one which I got at a action for next to nothing as no one wanted to bid on it haha it is doing well but I dread the day it turns.
Perhaps you may have some joy with yours ? you never know stranger things have happened
    good luck to you!!

Ditto on what everyone has said below. I had/have two of them, one is in the process of dieing and the other(just like the one you have) one hasnt come out in a long time. They are very hard to keep esp. if your new to the hobby. I have been in the hobby for about 20 yrs and I still cant say I can keep one. Good luck with yours, I hope you have better luck than me.;D
