    Cut your light cycle (or do the blackout method). Suck out as much as possible as often as possible. Skip a couple of water changes, it fuels the dinoflagellate growth.

    That's what worked for us. Took a couple of months, but it's gone with no chemicals and no drastic measures of breaking the tank down. It'll be a good way to gain patience with your tank LOL.
