These are the choices that i have to choose from, i'll probably need about 60lbs of sand, i wan't to try to stay away from rough sand as the warsse and puffer both "sleep" in the subtrate.

The fiji pink is really cool. It's very smooth and super white with a pink tint under actinic lights. Or the arag-alive special grade reef sand. Both are great options.

only reason why i'm buying from my lfs, is that i get 50% off my order when i order online but pay in the store, so the overall price may be cheaper :D and i think i'll go with the sand that you guys have mentioned since it seems like you guys like it

I just upgraded to a 150 and changed over to the pink fiji. I absolutely love it and it is well worth it! Beautiful and my diamond goby likes it too.

if you can get it dry do that. Don't buy live sand. It's just a bit of a hoax. Sure the sand is live when they bag it but do you really think that the bacteria lives in the bag on the warehouse shelves??? I don't think so. Personally I would do the dry sand and call it good. By the way, if your sandbed isn't more than 5-7 inches deep (and I am not in any way recommending this because you aren't going to need it and it's kinda dangerous if it gets disturbed) or so, you aren't getting much biofiltration out of it. Get the dry pink sand and just put it in and let it settle. don't rinse it.
