Another setup 27gl cube

Setup started about 8 weeks ago. Purchased equipment.

27gl Marineland cube
Eheim model 2215 filter
Eshopps psk-75h
20" Current Nova Extreme Pro T5ho 6x18

Reason for this purchase was to breakdown my Red Sea 130D as I had been fighting a Red bubble algae breakout that I was unsuccessful at controlling. While it was depressing I have always wanted to do multiple changes to the system and purchasing this new unit will give me time to revamp the 130D with upgrades.

I have also decided that I will be staying away from monti caps as my purple over whelmed my tank along with my Firefly Echinophora. I will be doing a lot more research focusing on speed of growth and overall size.

Also I am very interested in colorization of my corals as my purple Monti had always been more brown than purple(I have been reading up on brown out of corals and I believe my issue was due to the lighting). I have already started noticing the edged of my purple monti are taking on more of a purple hue.

Once the purple monti is to my satisfaction I will be selling the majority of it off along with the Firefly Echinophora.

You can understand from some of the pics what I was saying about my monti and firefly overwhelming things. Had to break them into multiple pieces as they had grown over multiple rocks in my old system.
