Just do a slow drip acclimation until the salinity matches.

As stated do a nice n slow drip on them and any inverts for that matter and it will aid in helping them become stable tank mates !

I am not a fan of drip acclimation. Especially, when it comes to livestock that has been shipped. Changes in pH can make ammonia toxic. If there is enough water, test pH, and salinity. As long as Salinity is not a huge difference to your tank salinity you should not have a problem. The way your water chemistry mixes with the water chemistry in the bag may have bad affects on the livestock. whenever I recieve anything that was shipped to me I float for 15 minutes and place in my tank.

Drip can be very good, but there are cons. No acclimation technique is perfect. Good luck.

Ok, so yesterday i aclimated them and are doing great. I let the water adjust for 15 min then i did a half a cup of my water into the bag every 15 min. for 1 hr 30 min. The only problem i have is that the shrimp hide and i havent really seen them both totally out. Why is that, and does yours do that too?? They have found eachother and are starting to hang with eachother behind a rock at the top of the tank where all of my hermits are too! My clarkii clown (sunny) (within 30 seconds of the shrimp in the tank), came up to the shrimp and turned its body and just sat their. Does anyone know what its doing?? It was kinda like the clown was showing himself his body to the shrimp.... very strange. Just and update and was wondering if you could answer a few of my questions. Thanks
