    Duuuuuuuuuuh....ummmmmmmmm....it's cylindrical and has numbers on it aaaaaaaand....I'll have to look at it when I get home :lol:

    Turns out the lens is Sigma 50 mm F2.8 DG Macro. Does that mean anything to you because it sure don't mean much to me yet :)

    Yep i know them. I was looking at the canon 60mm but at $700 i might just go with a sigma. There very good lenses and since I'm no pro i can do without the canon name brand.

    Rebel is a great camera.
    I have a Nikon D70 and i have two zoom lenes, i am dying to buy a good macro. I bet youll be able to take some nice pics with that and some time!
