Ant-hills in the sand

Just a healthy variety of polychaete worms and bivalves for the mostpart!

any one seen the sand kings movie lol

 

for what it's worth my lfs said the mounds are made by snails. funny, i don't remember purchasing snails.
I'm certain they hitchhiked via my LR i purchased when i started my tank.
The pink spotted goby i got thinks it's an interior designer and makes quick work
out of any mounds. anyone else who's owned one of these gobies knows what i mean haha

 

I have the same thing, and have watched sand coming up from the center, in a stream..
Very strange..
