This will work if there is enough space. It can reach out pretty far. I would say atleast 3".............

When I first set up my tank, my LFS owner gave me as a gift a small frag (3 heads) of anthelia coral. At the time I didn't know what it was. Now 2 months later, I can't count the heads even. Only when they're all closed possibly, but won't even try.

I do believe though, with all my heart, that it's a wicked looking coral and if it wasn't invasive and had a few more brilliant colors, people in general would be ALL OVER this thing.

IMO, I'm happy with my small, manageable Anthelia colony. It's not as big as yours and yours look blueish when mine are brown. I already have it schedule for next month to frag this Anthelia, and stuck my brother in law with it, since he stuck me with an under gravel filter system. Not bad if you're not planing to have any corals in the future.

Good luck with it. I'm sure there are a lot of people like myself that like this hairy and wicked looking corals. Yours seems to have at least a very nice, more attractive blue color. Make sure you're keeping it under control and if at some point you start thinking it has gotten too big, it's probably because it really has.

The rock itself looks like good quality rock. Bet it's loaded with beneficial bacteria ;)
