I have 2 squareback anthias 1 male 1 female in the 220, I also have a small sailfin and a yellow tang and foxface. The sailfin has always been the brunt of getting picked on, which is why the yellow tang sticks up for him... very strange...

these anthias were added last week they would not eat in QT so I added them to the tank in hopes it would help, and it did they started eating yesterday.

But all of a sudden this morning the male anthia has been chasing everyone around the tank including the yellow tang, hes not really allowing the female to eat either.

Before I added the anthias I did a big aqua scape change to avoid any teritorial issues. Is this normal anthia behavior? or did I just get the mean one?

it's always better to have one male with several females I think. It kind of spreads the aggression around. I have never heard of anthias going after tangs though, that's crazy! mine hang out with my kole tang.

only problem I have with adding more females is all the ones the lfs has at the moment are all pretty small, I would be afraid of him going after them he seems to hate everyone lol
