    Can I keep 3 a this's in an 80 gallon reef tank?
    Ideas thoughts? I wanted a "schooling" fish

    Yes, one male and two females. A favorite fish of mine, but to do their best and stay healthy they need to be feed 3 times daily and not the same food type time after time unless it's a frozen mix like Rod's that has algae and vegetables with meaty sea foods.

    You need to be careful as to which species you get...some will pick each other off, some aren't as bad. We found that blotched anthias (O. borbonius) tend to squabble a little, but it's a pecking order thing amongst themselves. We kept a trio for several years.

    Our specimens even learned to eat from a feeding stick when we fed the preds they were housed with.
