    It's just framed in copper there doesn't appear to be any place the copper would be in your water or touching it you crazy people :p

    I would. I've had a spray coated copper ball on my friends boat for 10+ years (moored in a marine harbor). it's not only 3 ft from saltwater, it goes through some pretty bad storms, and our marine layer here is pretty damn salty :D
