I switched away from freshwater a few months ago to turn my 36 fresh into a seahorse tank, but your freshwater setup is unreal.

 

Thanks, if i wasnt going salt i would make it look better but there is about 50lbs of crushed stone (almost like sand) with about 40 pounds of lace rock, and a bunch of fake plants, i just got a 55 gallon that will be my freshwater and the lace will take up all the 55 so no need for more.

I think I recognise a jewel chichlid and a Jack dempsey?

what other fish have you got in there?

i got a bunch yes a jewl and jack are right, i got a electric yellow, a few assorted african's 1 pleco 1 eclipse cat, 2 tiger barbs, 1 angle fish, 1 koi goldfish, 3 alto calvus cihclid (still babies) 1 green terror, 2 blue guarmi's 1 gold guarmi (cant spell lol) and 1 snowy cihclid (what i call it) i think thats it, its a bit overstocked but i got sum role fish to go with the show fish so it all balanced out

 

nice tank. one of my teachers has 2 cichlid tanks and i love them. if i did freshwater i would do cichlids!
