Any anemomes that do not sting?

    Any anemomes that do not sting? I have a nano and love anenomes, but don't want to have anything get killed by it! any suggestions? or am I dreaming lol?

    Anemones need to sting in order to recieve and catch food. So, no.

    LMAO ;D Yeah, as others have said, that's sort of what they do. Some may have less of a sting though. A lot of corallimorphs look like anemones and don't have powerful stings.

    DAMN. lol Thats kind of what I thought, but I wasn't sure so thats why I asked. anything like an anenome that doesn't sting lol? that I could keep in my nano? (finger crossed):yelrotflm :stupid:

    Anemones require very strong lighting. Similar to that of SPS and Clams. Plus they grow very fast and move around. Not really a invert you might want to have in a nano

    Alright, again no surprises here lol, thats what I thought, but you never know for sure unless you ask. I have 3 types of zoas 1 trumpet/ candy cane/ one kenya tree/ 2 types of green star polyps, and green mushrooms any suggestions for something aside from the green star polyps that might provide some more "movement" in the tank and by that I mean visually pleasing movement? lol I am also adding another zoa frag soon as I find the color I like

    There are artificial nems that look real enough to fool clownfish.

    Hell yeah. I didn't even think of those. But you're right and actually some of the higher dollar models fool some people.
