Any comments on CPR HOB skimmers?

    Your review is one of the main reasons I had been looking at one. Heard good things about them from others, too. 40 seems like a steal for the other one, but with another 60 in accessories, and another 15 to ship the accessories, Im already up to the cost of a good octopus unit that isnt second hand.

    The two HOB I like are the Remora and the Octopus BH100F, based on posted reviews. Look into the BF andtell me what you think. From what I have read, you cannot lose with either one. If I ever go HOB, it will be one or the other.

    The one I have came with a larger pump (225f), I paid $137 and it is worth every dime! (Oh and a silencer)

    Where did you get yours lucky? And how big is your tank? I'm thinking I might only need one of the 100's (its going on a 40 gallon).

    I got it at a lfs here in Fort Worth. The tank is a 55g. You are going to love this skimmer. The skimmate is thicker and darker each day, it is crazy to think that I never had one this good.
