For my next fish I would like to get a pair of clownfish but am leaning towards designer clownfish...

In particular: Sea and Reef Davinci (Grade A) clownfish
Reserved - Sea & Reef Clownfish - Fish Species - Sea and Reef Aquaculture

I found that SBAquariums sells them on ebay and was thinking of purchasing a pair.

Anyone have any experience w/these fish, the seller, or anything in relation?

I got a pair of Vivid Fancy Clowns from Clownaquatics about a month ago and I love 'em. I was originally looking at the Davinci, but the Vivid Fancy are the same, just from Sustainable Aquatics.

SA Fancy White and Vivid Fancy Ocellaris - YouTube (the Vivid Fancy Clowns are the ones with connecting lines.

I know many reefers keep them and seem to love them! I think they're very cool but a bit too pricey for my wallet.....

Vivid fancy are occies with slightly more black and vivid orange. Fancy white are "grade C" WW, some have connecting bars. SR Da Vinci's can have even more white than Fancy white.

    Hey Giants,

I'm not sure if you thought about your entire livestock list yet, but Henry would get along with a pair of Maroon clowns, and the clowns would match up great...

The DaVinci are sweet!! On the rare side as well

Still contemplating my entire list... I do know that I def want a pair of clowns as my next add. Any reason you recommend the maroon clown?

I am very heavily leaning towards the Davinci's. Found a seller, SB (silverbow) Aquariums who can get some in.

Well recommend is a strange way to put it lol !!

I have breed / raised / kept clown for years and I have to say, Maroons def have an amazing personality. They can be very nasty with other fish though...

I say they would work for you because they won't mess with Henry at all be they know he is venomous... Most people can't keep maroons clowns simply because of the first the added to the system before-hand. But you would be fine here

Honestly, a Foxface, pair of desginer maroons, a wrasse, and a school of 7-9 Chromis / Damsels would make a hell of a unique system.

Just my two cents pal, like I said, the DaVinci would be good too. Just seems like everyone has Ocellaris or Percula clowns
