Any Florida Hunters?

I just recently just moved down to florida. My buddy and i are interested in wild boar hunting, since he use to do it back where he is from. My question is, i cant find it anywhere online, can you hunt with semi automatic rifles in the state of florida? if so is there a caliber limit? I know they like to hide in the brush and charge you, so i feel a large bolt action might be out of place.

i found that...so does that mean i can use my ak-47 but only put 5 rounds in or get a clip that only holds 5

 

That sounds like the same thing for shotguns. Your gun can only HOLD 3 shells. If you have the plug taken out, but only 3 shells in it, it's still illegal.

 

depends how you go about hog hunting alot of guys i know use a pack of dogs to find and hold them at bay and some tree stand it and bait them over the course of a few days/weeks

 

Man all you need to do is drive my commute at night and you can pick them off on the road. I see a couple dead every other week. HUGE mothers also. Hey in Florida all you need to say is I was in fear of my life and bingo you get to shoot them..man or beast. What a great state

 

look up outdoor gun ranges, some are on wildlife reserves. you'd have to get a hunting permit and pay their fees to hunt on there land. and I believe its seasonal for certain game..
