This thread has been for the most part both spritely and professional; somewhat emotional yet professional. As long as this stays that way it won't have to be closed.

3reef is a place where it's OK to allow your feelings to be known, and many have done so with eloquence. However, degrading others or promoting predjudices or stereotypes won't be tolerated.

As one said, the OP asked a specific question. If you post, please consider addressing that. :)

Not Lou's. I buy mostly from South Dade Guns. Right down the street from my house in Cutler Bay. One of the guys that works there I've known since Elemetary School so I get some decent deals.
I've got a Glock 19 and a 27. Awesome guns. I couldn't break them if I wanted to, they're just not very comfortable in my hand.
And getting a CCW is fairly easy. A 3 hr course, $200, and wait for a couple months to show up in the mail.

Tennessee's is just a Carry Permit. No concealed :) Of course, you don't see random guys walking around with holsters on their hips out in public, but if you wanted to you technically could.

i broke my glock 19 once.

i was cleaning it and i was putting the slide back on. i guess it didn't catch because it slid off, landed at a weird angle and bent. couldn't believe it. it must have fallen less than 3 feet too.

glock fixed it. for a price. they took the whole pistol and cleaned it up real good... but still... would've rather not dropped it

To me, they have too much of a "blocky" feel. I have big hands but I still always feel like I don't have enough grip on it. And I'm not crazy about the grip angle. If I'm out shooting all day with my other guns, I have to put a few mags through the Glocks before it starts to feel natural again, unlike all my other guns, which i can quickly throw up and put the sights on what I want. But still, Glocks are amazing, they'll eat any cheap ammo I put through them. Never had a problem with either.
The Sig2022 I've been looking at has a very wide grip and is pretty heavy but to me feels much more comfortable. And the XD...that gun just feels great in my hand. I'm very excited for it to come in.
