This opens and closes with light and loos to me like a button polyp. But is it something menacing??

This just popped up. Kinda hard to see in the pic but it up a bit and just left of the bright spot. It's white with little fuzz at the top.

the white color has me a little throwed off from saying its a glass nem, and the way the feelers are spread on the ends makes me think of a flower nem which are a little more desirable but, i really can't be sure at this point.

First is a nem of some sort. Not sure of the variety. Second is sponge. I have these in my tank as well.

I wouldnt, they can spore by pulling on them, its better to use joes juice or aptasia RX or there are many other things you can do to rid of them without causing them to spread

the second one is a sponge...i have some in my tank as far as i know is it is harmless and tends to stick more to the bottom of rocks than the top but i have heard a few cases where they over run stony corals...there are some things that eat these such as angels and nudis and some crabs but the safest bet on finding something reef safe that will eat it is taking a gamble with an angel if you want it gone...also you can pull the rock and scrub it but results vary on that
