I got home from work tonight and was doing my lifestock check in all my tanks ;D. I found Bob in his den holding what looked like an orange egg sac of somekind  It has like a thousand little orange round things.

He is very protective of this thing......when I looked at it he went to the back of his den and put his tail up and threw sand at the sides of the tank where i was at. He then came out a little and I tried to get it with a feeding stick and he wanted to get me..which is unlike him! So I let him go.

These are not the best pictures..but all I can get.

The only inhabitents in with him is a sole blue damsel that is in there and a turbo snail that I saw alive. There is also some corals (zoos, colt, leather) but nothing orange...

    any ideas?

    your kidding me?
Bob is a bobita? Doesnt he/she need another to mate?

Wow....I know that it is almost impossible to hatch out mantis as they are cannibals but what should I do. Keep lights out, try to feed her

I have no idea, but I would imagine without a male in the picture not much other then an awesome display will come of it. Still, that is *really* cool.

Pictures are going to be a must. Better not leave the tank until they hatch.

I just hope that she still has them tomorrow and not eat the eggs before I get home. The camera that I took the pics tonight is not charged and my other camera is not here!
