While flash lighting around my tank last night i noticed that there was a tremendous amount of life that was happy to have the glow of the light. Would you believe this to be a true statement? I don't know much about moon lighting especially since my light doesn't come with it.

Honestly, I kinda don't think that. Most nocturnal critters in our tanks don't seem to like light. And IMO, moonlights are not needed for anything other than our enjoyment. That being said, i have a really loooong sunset so i can watch the night critters, and my nighttime feeding corals open up and extend. Pretty cheap to add

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I have had the stock blue LED's on my last couple AIO tanks.

At night I usually see a lot of pods, bristle worms, rouge crabs. Every once in awhile some cool worm types like Polyclad worms. Limpets, Stomatella......

If you take a flash light and put red cellophane over the light you usually do not scare everything back into the rock work.

The polyp extension on some corals is greatly exaggerated at night, which I find very cool. You see feeding responses by LPS and greater PE to some acropora.
