    [Solved(in 10 minutes....Nice)]Any idea what this is?

I bought the rock with pulsing xenia on it like 2 or 3 weeks ago and just noticed this. Any idea what it is? Its a pinkish color and semi translucent. It also has like a little tunnel/mouth looking thing sticking out from it that isnt really noticible in the picture. Thanks for all your help.

Wow that was fast lol. It's really alot more see through then it appears to be in the picture. The picture makes it look pretty solid.

Thank you very much. Will it become a problem if it keeps spreading? Such as killing the xenia or any other corals?

I've got the same kind of sponge growing all over. I hardly think it would ever become a problem with corals, especially xenia. It looks really nice on the LR tho.

I have a sponge that is peach colored that sounds like it is similar to yours. I found that it does not like being in light and will actually die off in the light. So if you wish to keep yours don't put it in the light or at least keep it shaded.
