Any idea what this is???

    Hi,

    I was hoping someone might be able to tell me what this white growth is on my live rock? It looks sort of spongey to look at, but to touch it feels quite hard. Its been there for a few weeks now, and has always been white, no changes in colour. You can see it in my pic.

    Any ideas?? Thanks

    It's likely a sponge of some sort
