it seem that all my snail are dieing, one by one they are dropping to the sand bed ( it is happening over a 6 day period) the only thing different i have been doing to my tank it adding the MG drop to being it up. My tank is about 2 month now so we know it is still cycling , so is this part of the cycling ( deaf to all snail) or is there something wrong?

Inverts are one of the most sensitive things you will put into your tank, especially to nitrates (sorry Luna, I haven't memorized the abbreviation, I am lazy :)!)

Didn't see this thread until now. Have you got a ground probe in the tank?

Oh, and that's not a bad price for a black tang. I only wish I could afford one myself! :)

With your tank being 2 months old, Im betting its nitrates on the tail end of your cycle. Once one dies, it just makes the problem worse. As a result, they all start dieing off.
