I picked up a used 60 gallon cube tank last night, and it needs a good cleaning. Any idea's on how to get the glass clean? I have heard that sea salt and vineger will work. I did my 75 a while back, and it took lots of work with just a green scrubbie to get it clean.

No,you can just use it straight, let soak on for a bit and i use a scotchbrite pad to scrub with for glass,if it's really bad,a razor blade can work well also.Just rinse very well afterwords.

Just be 100% its a glass and not an acrylic tank - as acrylic and scotch pads are not compatible IME

I would put Vinigar in a spray bottle and spray it until it is soaked and scrape with razor blade.

It's all glass, and like yours, the funk is in the glass. Looks like I need a razor blade. A word of advice for all who will be cleaning with vinegar,, don't breath with your head in the tank!! :p
