Any idea's for cleaning a used tank?

    Vinegar and a razor scraper. I like the 4" ones as they are stiffer and you get better leverage. I used one form home depot. soak it good with the vinegar then scrape it off like old paint. works like a charm.

    Wow Pickupman,, your kids did a great job cleaning that tank!! At this point I feel I have cleaned what was on the glass, but it seems like there is a deposit or something in the glass?? Maybe I am trying to make it to clean?, but I am only going to get one shot at this. I will head over and get the 4" scraper and maybe it will help.
