please let us know if it does

one idea you could also consider is using one of those mesh type fry raising boxes
or a plastic colander (veg sieve) place this over the torch when the clowns are not in it to prevent them hosting, but still allowing the Torch to recieve light and water movement

the clowns may then look for an alternative home
but they could still move back later when the barrier is removed
