    I am still on the Fungia team. There are sooooo many different types. But without a hard skeleton under that tissue then it is most definitely not an LPS.

    It's still a Fungia! :)

    Bear in mind, the skeleton on these types will be about half the size of the coral's appearance when the tissue is fully expanded (like those photos).

    Ah, I didn't realize that, hence my suggestion that it might be a mushroom (although I couldn't find one that resembled it). ;)

    I think it's a cool hitch hiker..... Whatever it may be lol. Judging from images I seen online I'm going with Fungia.
