I am wanting to get some corals for my tank but I am kinda limited due to the size of my tank. I was wanting something to attach to my LR to add some flare and that will be low maintenance. Any suggestions??

Green star polyps were my first corals. They took off under my simple lighting (see profile).

Pom Pom xenias are small, and really kewl!! They colonize quick, and act like canaries in a submarine, if the water params are good, their beutiful, if the params are not good, xenias wont be looking good!

the beginner corals are usually star polyps, zoo's, mushrooms, soft leathers, pretty much all the softy will get attach to LRs eventually. they dont require too much lightings. im not sure how long u been in the reefing hobby but if u know the hobby pretty well u can try getting some LPS but they wont get attach to u LRs. if u are not planning on getting a bigger tank in the future dont get too many softies cause they grow and reproduce very fast.

Yes I am what you call a beginner. I have only had my nano cube for 4 months and I have not purchased or added any extra lighting, etc.. I do plan on getting a bigger tank eventually I just wanted to see if I was successful with a small starter tank. So far so good! I was told not to get an anenome since I was a beginner and I have went against that advice and my anenome is doing great. Knock on wood.. I am just very limited to what I can get in this tank and the maintenenance is troublesome with a small tank so I cant wait to expand. My 2 year old got me into this and well now Im hooked...I love it!! Thanks for the advice, I will check into the star polyps and pom pom xenias.
