for a few weeks now i have seen a little sand hill in the corner of my tank but i never paid it any attention i figure it was one of the hermit making something. so today i was clean the tank, so i figure i would be mean and knock the hill down ::). but when i did that there was something living in it .

the pictures are a little bad, but it a orange red, every cm(it is small) there is a black dot for a total of maybe 10 that i can see, it also has a few tentacles, and the other end is under the sand. I think it a Spaghetti worm, but there it no way it could have gotten it to my tank on anything that i know of. All i have in my tank right now is a feather, LTA , clown ,domino and xenia in my tank

anyone have any ideas as to what it could be

coulda been in some LR for a long time, I had a bunch of smaller red worms that looked like spaghetti worms come out of a rock that was only half the size of my fist, probablly 5-10 of them came from that one rock, so they hide pretty well

well if you have no live rock then maybe it was hitch hiked in on the coral if its attached to a rock, dunno how long that stuff was in the tank for, if it was a decent amount of time it could have been smaller when put in the tank and is just now noticed since its in the sand...I had a few that went unoticed on another rock for a few months...I doubt it'd survive in a bag of live sand but maybe...

If you have feather duster, it could have been in part of the shell of it.
