Anyone know anything about "Prefecta Strip" strip lights and/or Eclipse lamps? Just wondering if they are any good and/or suitable for salt water. Any info would be awsome!!

Have you decided or purchased anything yet?

Eclipse are good, the color temperature, wattage, and the qaulity of ballast used to operate the bulbs are the most pertinent factors in choosing the bulb. What type of application are the lights for?

Got this lighting as a Christmas present - trying to determine if they are OK to keep. They would be used for my FOWLR for now, but eventually would like to get some other "softies" maybe some mushrooms and the like. I had read on the only other thing I found on the internet that perhaps the eclipse bulbs that came with them weren't suitable for salt water, but the box mentions coral and invertabrates on it, so it seems like it should be. So, thought I'd see if anyone here had any info on it.
