Any Logic?

    Is there any logic in placing an ultrviolet turbo light on the output of a GFO reactor? :confused: Could it do any harm there? :-/ If not there what would be a better location? (besides the trash ;D)

    Although I have serious doubts about the capabilities of UV, it's certainly mostly harmless as well, if installed and used properly. That said, having it's own pump would allow for easier flow adjustment for maximum efficiency.

    I can't say I have much use for them in general, altho I used to run one.

    Where they HAVE been making a difference is in fry setups, as they keep the level of protozoan infestations down, which lowers yield by fair amount. For grown fish, I haven't seen any difference, to be honest.
