I would like to. I have heard of people doing this. ..having a web-cam pointing at their tank(based from their desktop computer) which can be viewed(as an app I think?) on their phone. I don't remember exactly how it works, unfortunately.

lol there is software to allow you to look at a webcam even if someone doesnt give you permission. But on the legal side of things there is remote desktop software that will allow this.

I do this when I go on vacation. iCam is an awesome droid/iPhone app just for this sort of thing.

I just downloaded IP Cam Veiwer Lite onto my Droid2. It's free. I go to settings and can change the name, category, type, and then put in the URL of the camera's address. Simply put in a user name and password.

    I just need to buy a web-cam. :p

^^ I use IP Cam Veiwer Lite onto my Droid as well. Works great with a Foscam IP Web camera. Good picture, and infrared for night viewing if necessary. Also has pan/tilt capabilities. Was a little over 100 bucks to setup. Since it's wireless too it does not need to be hooked up to a computer to transmit the picture feed.
