I saw one of our users, god503, use this but in the 1 kilo form. Anybody else have any knowledge or experience of/with this stuff.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I used it for about 2 years in my 200 gallon tank, that was before dosing pumps were so popular or available, that tank did excellent but was mostly soft and lps with a lot of clams. I would throw a couple cubes in the sump every month or so worked, well for me.

Just monitor your parameters for a base line and utilization to see if they do the trick or are financially feasible for your tank.

Sounds like dosing was cheaper for you then?
I'm just trying to see all my options here, and I am running out of room for equip.

Well the tank was large so it would have been a constant dosing daily. This was in 1996 and at the time it seemed liked a good alternative, today I dose my nano's manually.

I highly recommend a dosing pump but if you can swing one these worked well for me.

A better alternative IMO is any 2 Part or Parts A/B and a quality salt mix with routine water changes to replace those trace elements like strontium.

Thanks for your input I use aqua vitro salt and do a weekly water chage totaling 20-25% monthly

I tried to find one of Randy Holmes-Farley's threads on the SeaLab products but the RC search is too slow tonight.
Anyway, as Randy see's it, there is no way that the product can work as it says. First of all, there is no way to control the rate of dissolution, and, there is no way to control how much of each chemical is added to the water, and all tanks vary in the form of their needs.
