    Yeah the magnifying glass work's good but only if the object is close enough to the front of the glass to focus on it things farther back don't focus at all!
    It's defiantly not a hairy mushroom coral I've touched it it's some form of plant

    im not sure about the others but thats definitly halmedia you got your self there. it looks like it grows like mine where most people it grows very slow. its not a bad plant to have but if it grows like mine and it look like it does just prune it up every so often. but dont get it to close to the base i did kill one plant like that i cut it down to far. but the other plant sprung up like crazy. i have trimmed it up and gave it away and seems most people cant keep it alive so just trim it up here and there and enjoy. some of it seems to die off before it hits another growth spurt but its ok because it wil turn pure white and its a calcium based plant when it does die off the calcium breaks down and gets released back in the tank so in a way it recycles it self for the tank.
