    I completely agree that the majority of this issue is inside the plant. So I'm clear, I am not disputing this. I am just saying, looking at the big picture, one would have a higher level than the other when the whole plant and process is considered.

    I agree--I think frozen would have alot lower chance as they harvest and freeze immediately. I just dont want to sabatoge my efforts to rid my tank of phosphates, and keep throwing more in.-Good topic though!!!!;D

    The only way not to throw more phosphates in is to not feed the tank. Any food you put in there is going to introduce more phosphates as it decomposes either directly or as the fish waste is decomposed.
