any skimmer suggestions?

Ive been looking online everywhere and there is no product rating for protein skimmers so i figured why not here if anyone has any good input on skimmers let me know. just not looking for a HOB skimmer, im trying to avoid anything being seen trying to keep everything down under. its for a 75g pre drilled FOWLR with a wet dry (bio balls gonna be replaced with LR)

 

there are many to choose from reef octopus, eshopps,coralife just to name a few

 

well i figured i was gonna run into various brands was hoping someone had a brand they loved or had a bad time with to help out to choose from the various brands. my lfs say they can order me whatever one i want but im hoping to choose from one on ebay which is way cheaper.

these days there are so many good options , but many people do have a favourite brand
SWC skimmers - sponsors on here have a good rep IME
Eshopps - another sponsor also have a good rep for budget priced skimmers IME
Reef Octopus brand is another with a lot of fans
Aquamedic - Im a fan of their product in general and their skimmers , whichever one you get would be quality IMO
Deltec - thats what I run currently but HOB - pricey, but well made IME

ASM, Bullet, Precission - the list goes on

check craigslist - see something you fancy, post a link and then get an opinion on the model your choosing
