So I am wanting to get a BTA for my new tank it would be my first attempt at an anemone but I think I am ready. I have had great success with various sps lps corals and keeping seahorses in another tank that are doing fine. I am setting up a new tank all the rocks and water and most of the sand is going to be from the other 4 tanks. I got 2 black clowns right now and they are hosting my Tyree Green Polyped toadstool. It doesn't seem to mind it well at first it did but now it doesn't. However, it is not that big maybe only 4' wide. So here is the game plan set up the new tank w/ all my extra equipment ie: tunez skimmer, 150 metal halide hqi, live sand, old tank water. Let that sit for about a week to see if I get any sort of cycle (hopefully none). Once I see that everything is good get the anemone and have it find a place in the tank then move the clowns in the tank w/ only the anemone hoping that they will host it? Will it work? Any tips for keep a nem?

Just like I posted on someone else's thread. This link is for a site dedicated to BTA. It should have all the care info you need. I wouldn't put that BTA or any other anemone in a tank as young as you're thinking about. But with using rocks and sand from an established tank, I'm not positive. Hope this helps.
