I have a slight algea problem im lowering nitrates and lowering phosphate but I want to put in a long term helper just wanted to know how hard it isn to use biopellets the main problem i see is making sure you keep O2 up in the tank from what I understand

Yes I do 15% wc weekly I feed once a day everyday except thursdays I have a rodi unit

NO- never even looked at a Dr. Tims product, even at the lfs

So many ways to accomplish the same thing in this hobby!

My LR, corrilline, and just as impoortantly, my huge chaeto basket always keep my N & P undetectable via API- which I know doesn't go real low, especially for Phosphate.

So I built a DIY PhosGuard reactor- gartorade bottle and a MJ power head, and rarely chane of add any pellets.

But if that product just may work for you, go for it.

MIne is also in the more or less direct f
low of my entire sump turnover.

My sump goes Skimmer portion- Chaeto Basket (big area), return pump
I only use one return to my sump.

Have you looked for the possible source of the nitrates? How high?
    Good luck.
