I will be the first to admit that yes peta is a little extreme and odd. I am 14 and have been a veg. for a long time. I lived with my mother for the ages of 1-3 and she didnt cook meat stuff for me, obviously your not going to give a 2 year old steak lol. My mother is a veg. where as my step father is not. Yes we all live in the same house and when he cooks meat I am respectful and he is when I cook and have him try foods. anyways my mother is allways saying quite annoyingly (anything she says I think is annoying at my age) that I dont have to be a veg. I can allways eat meat. Its not like my mother is YOU WILL BE A VEG.

    Tanner,

Sorry....I made an assumption about your name.

I've worked with children for the last 25 years. (Many of these children would be considered troubled kids). When I saw those manipulative comic books, I was fit to be tied.

However, there's nothing wrong with people of different viewpoints expressing their varying viewpoints and learning why others have those opinions. If one is determined to "win" in a thread and wants someone else to "lose", there's another forum with the initials of RC that will welcome you. However, if one wants a win-win situation where no one has to lose, then hang around and have some fun.

Just a reminder to everyone.....this hobby is supposed to be fun and we can rise above any challenge that we choose to.

No...Sorry-- I might have come off a little rough, but you didn't offend me at all. It just seems like I run into this type of vegan all the time. I apologize if you thought my comment was aimed at you.

I do find the vegetarian eating style interesting and eat vegie dishes once in awhile. It just depends on what it is...As long as it's not tofu (eeesh!)

I actually only eat things that fall of trees.

If a steak happens to somehow find its way in with the apples and lemons...its not my fault!
