If that doesn't work, you can always try grocery store garlic, as long as there are no weird add ons or chemicals. Just straight up garlic. It's the juice you want from it.

Adding small amounts of garlic boosts fish/amphibians immune system (i'm sure it works on other critters as well). Not only does it make them healthier/stronger if they're sick, it makes food almost irresistable. If you ever have a fish, or in this case toad, that won't eat, put some garlic drops on its food before resorting to medicine or other things.

I had a FBT back in the day. His tank was next to our tree frogs though, and he always tried to climb the corners of the tank. Monkey see monkey do? Anyways, long story short, he manages to escape from his enclosure (the lid had about 1/2" gap in one corner when you pushed up on it) never to be seen again. I liked the tree frogs better, but it was still a sad day.

Good luck with your FBT's! Let us know how things work out.

I kept FBTs. Try to make the waxworm look more, alluring. Dangle it tantalizingly from a fishing line or something.

But I think that "something is rotten in the state of Denmark" if both of them stopped eating at the same time. Try to find and fix whatever is causing that.

so i found out what's most likely wrong with my toads. I may have swung them into hibernation. I never knew they hibernated but when researching online about them to try to find out whats wrong, it sounds exactly like what their doing. I guess going from a 71 watt bulb down to a 15watt made them think it was winter. Now i have to go out and buy another bulb, i'm thinking a 50watt would be good, as that is kind of inbetween, since i don't want their tank being to hot. It's a big sigh of relief for me that this is most likely what's going on

hey pufferchick i have a 20 gallon aqua-terrarium with 4 fbt's. i had same problem at one time and i found a food dish that vibrates. you put the meal worms on there and they jiggle enticing the frogs to eat.
