With my iPhone plan (and Nokia N900 phone), I get the unlimited mobile mins to AT&T, unlimited web/mms/sms/visual voice (if I still had an iphone) for $40. Picture mail, email, NFL.com are all normal web services available on the internet. No AT&T TV, which I wouldn't be to thrilled about regardless because of the lack of ability to listen to sound in most situations where I could watch my phone for long periods. Included is great service in my area (not a city, so good speeds) and sometimes spotty service elsewhere thanks to AT&T.

You get charged for the special 4G data plan, even if you live in an area that doesn't have 4G service.

    /facepalm

If you live in a major metropolitan area or stick to the interstates, Sprint is fine. Otherwise, if you travel or go off the beaten path, I found Sprint to be pretty much worthless. Same with AT&T. Verizon is the only network I found that could satisfy my needs. Otherwise, I was pretty much left without signal at all and a useless brick.

I just picked mine up on Friday. Love it so far, although I have had a few problems. From what I have heard I'm one of the rare cases, most people aren't having any problems so far. My internet and email was working intermittently up until yesterday, seems to be working great now. But now my camera/camcorder isn't working. Need to get sprint back on the phone this morning.
I can't believe how fast the internet is, even only in 3g. It's also amazing how much you can customize the phone. The camera/camcorder picture quality is incredible. Once I get these few bugs out I'm sure I'll be even happier with this phone.

Verizon & Sprint use CDMA on the digital side. So, they share each others towers. Unless of course you're using an analog band, which Verizon still uses but wants to drop due to very costly up keep.

Your camera problem may be due to the glitch they found on 6/4/2010 the morning of release. It was corrupting the memory cards. There is an OTA (over the air) update that corrects that issue. If you take the memory card out you will not be about to take pics, since it is stored onto the memory card only. Did it ever do the update?? The 3G is sick on it, can't wait for 4G....

You must have an old plan & is no longer available. Heck, my Sprint Demo line has 3000min, unlimited data, navigation, night & weekends and all the bells & whisles on my HTC Touch Pro 2 for $20.00, but that's not available to the public. ;) hehe...

Actually, as it turns out, you can still get the plan I have until sometime this month; I think it's Tuesday that they're discontinuing it.

Parts of it were mandatory with an iPhone, like the unlimited internet, and at least 200 text/sms.
