aww Curt beat me to it :(
ive only seen one of these before and the green on it was gorgeous!

Also worth noting, another coral that I just saw about 2 weeks ago for the first time was an odd one... it was an SPS and simply called "table coral". On first thought i thought it was meaning a tabling acropora but after closer inspection the coral grows in just a straight cylinder about the diameter of your forearm
sorry to side track but this new coral was something ive never seen!

    Well done Curt.

Its a good 6 inches away from nearest coral in my tank
it turns out it is an SPS and likes high flow and good lighting
so I have luckily positioned it correctly I feel

Ill definitely report its progress, as I have never seen one before

You ought to see the Merulina spp that Schackmel bought. Even browned out with a little tissue recession on it's left side (from sitting too close to a bubble at the store), it's about a foot across and 9 inches from top to bottom. Chad sold it to her for $40. OMG....even browned out I would have priced it at $120 at a minimum. She got a very large Pectinia spp too for $4o.

Corailline....they are definitely aggressive for an SPS. They are nothing like a Hydonphora but they certainly aren't a Montipora either. (In other words, give them a little space.
