Anybody know what this is???

Can if you want, I guess it can't hurt to see? and it only took about a week tops to notice the change in direction. the pic you have looks identical to the stuff in my tank but because of where it is I can't get a pic that shows it. Mines been in there about 8 months now for the one cluster, they got about 3 inches at the longest point, and the other just showed up a couple weeks ago, and is already an inch and a half to two inches.

im new and ive never seen that before but it sure wasbright green.

 

im willing to bet that it is chaeto, i have a ball of it in my refug. keep in mind that there are different strands of the stuff and it dosent always look the same. check out this picture
