i used to frequent nano-reef.com and i remember one person caring for that tang. although i think they were disappointed to find out the fish wasn't "reef-safe" as stated on the website. the tang was constantly picking at his zoanthids and even took a nibble or two at his maxima.

All Angel are unpredictable and not be trusted, I had a Dwarf Keyhole Angel that was a model citizen for 6 month and all of the sudden he decided that my frogspawn was going to be todays main course. I feed him and the PowderBrownTang Nori and Seaweed select algea strips on a regular basis and he was still not content. Torn my 120 gal apart with 120lbs rock to get him out to QT ( PITA) and sold him!

Hi Covey I had him for almost a year and he gets along with my PowderBrown Tang They are buddies. I feed the tangs Nori every 2nd day, cyclopeeze, mysis, baby brine shrimp ( not too much, only when feeding the coral because it's like popcorn to a fish ), flakes, ( at first both tangs didn't eat flakes until they saw the clowns and goby's amd Royal gamma go crazy for it and after 2 weeks started to eat flakes ).

I've kept Tomi tangs, they're one of my favorites and one of the hardier tangs out there. To bad you passed it up.
